Berrill Kiernan & Associates are a team of certified public accountants, tax advisors and registered auditors. As with many accountantss and solicitors they requested a monogram. I started with an eight sided coin and later simplified it to six. The BK element is a simple and attractive juxtaposition of both letters.  It was important to create a forward looking identity, but still express a sense of the business history. I suppose the general structure of the logo is quite classical, but with the addition of a san serif font and fresh colour palette the visual twist is slightly more contemporary. I feel like this identity will age very well.
